The Diversity Team is commited to motivate all individuals of different cultural backgrounds to learn how to become members of a community and work as a team cooperatively and responsibly while learning about each other and who we are in the process.

Chronicles Productions began with Kim Ngo’s inspiration to film. She gained a scholarship for the Pacific Cinematheque Summer Visions Film Institute for Youth at Templeton Secondary School and completed group video, “Verisimilitude” that won for best editing. Within the Chronicles Productions team, she is head director for filming and editing.

The Chronicles Productions team created a few projects for the school such as, T*SAT Greenway BBQ, Tupper ROARS, The Tupper Greenway Project and other videos. Members of the Chronicles crew are also in the process of doing other film projects such as George Stewart’s Gingerbread Girl and Albert Guest’s Cereal Killer and more odd intermission clips such as Picky Noser directed by Raven Gray.

A major project that the team is working on is a film called “Fading”. The main theme of this student film is about Friendship. The great trusting bond in it, the weight of how far a promise can go and how crushing it can be to dearly care for another.

The length of the film will be around ten minutes long and may be released later in the year 2008. However, teaser trailers and full trailers are already posted on the internet for public view, as well as a few trailer posters. The main characters will be played by Sanda Stewart as Marie Trawest, Kim Ngo as Thien Nguyen and Albert Guest as Peter.
